The Queen’s 90th Birthday

Royal Teas charity event for HM The Queen’s birthday
Royal teas ‘popped up’ at Tow law in County Durham at an event to celebrate HM The Queen’s 90th birthday.
The small town, the highest in County Durham, has a history of association with the Monarchy, ever since a visit to open a community centre in 1939 by King George Vl and Queen Elizabeth. The whole town turned out to attend the charity event held on a field in the town and were delighted with Royal Teas with queues forming for a royal afternoon tea surrounded by memorabilia and with patriotic songs in the background.
